Exterior and Interior
Dodge opted for the iconic Go Mango color for the 2023 Dodge Charger King Daytona. The car is based on the widebody Hellcat Redeye version. The King Daytona exterior visual upgrades include matte black graphics on the hood, roof, and trunk. Satin Chrome exterior badges, bright hood pins by MOPAR, and a black SRT rear spoiler are also in place. It sits on a set of 20” Warp-Speed Satin Carbon 10-spoke wheels backed up by Go Mango painted Brembo brake calipers with the black SRT script in black. The inside is done in a very tasteful black Nappa leather with Alcantara with contrasting orange stitching to match the exterior’s color scheme. The interior also is host to real carbon fiber accents, a “King Daytona” instrument panel badge, and Daytona stitching on the front seats in orange. The steering wheel is encapsulated in SRT Alcantara with a RED LED logo. Other details include a suede headliner, suede door trim panel with map pocket, front & rear floor mats, Navigation & Travel Group, Harman/Kardon Audio Group, and a Harman Kardon/GreenEdge amplifier.
Engine
The 2023 Dodge Charger King Daytona uses a 6.2L HEMI V8 supercharged engine coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Power output has been bumped up for the King by an extra 10hp making the King Daytona churn out 807 horses. It uses a Brembo 6-piston brakes up front for on-the-dot stopping power. The SRT Power Chiller is standard on the King Daytona for effective cooling for the engine.
